“Wamb” is short for Wambierzyce, a name of town in Lower Silesia, in the South of Poland, where the first sketches of the series were made. The relief prints in the final series of seven, were executed at the GPD (Graphic Experimental Workshop) printing facilities in Łódź, Poland. There were two series made: One on semi translucent, super thin rice paper, and the other one on a Felix Schoeller Turm heavy carton. The photographic reproductions here were taken from the prints on white carton.
